Social Infrastructure

Community Health Centre Upgrades – Eastern Region
A turnkey project to renovate and expand three rural clinics. Scope included new maternity wards, staff housing, and the installation of backup solar power to ensure critical services remain operational. Delivered through a performance‑based contract with strict HSE oversight.

 

Affordable Housing Scheme – Greater Accra
Phase one of a mixed‑use development providing 200 housing units. NCS managed the full project lifecycle, from site supervision and utility connections to handover, ensuring the project met durability standards while adhering to strict budget controls.

 

Energy & Power

Solar Mini‑Grid Electrification – Volta Region
Design and construction of a utility‑scale solar PV mini‑grid with battery storage, bringing reliable power to five off‑grid communities. Responsibilities included feasibility studies, resilient engineering design, and community engagement to ensure long‑term sustainability.

 

Transmission Line Reinforcement – Central Region
Route planning and tower erection for a 40 km high‑voltage line to reduce transmission losses and improve grid stability. NCS provided construction management, independent safety audits, and final commissioning to grid standards.

 

Transport & Mobility

BRT Depot and Terminal – Accra
Construction of a modern bus depot and two intermodal terminals to support the expansion of the city’s BRT system. Work included paved circulation areas, maintenance workshops, and passenger facilities, delivered under a strict timeline to support new fleet rollouts.

 

Rural Road Connectivity – Northern Region
Upgrading 75 km of unpaved roads to all‑weather gravel standards, including critical drainage works and culvert installation. The project focused on improving market access for farming communities and utilized local labour through apprenticeship programmes.

 

Water & Environment

Urban Water Supply Expansion – Ashanti Region
Engineering and construction supervision for a new treatment plant and 20 km of transmission mains. NCS oversaw the ESIA process, ensured climate‑proofed designs, and managed the tender process for subcontractors to deliver value for money.

 

Flood Mitigation and Drainage – Western Region
Design and construction of reinforced concrete drainage channels and a stormwater retention basin to protect a densely populated urban area from seasonal flooding. The project included community engagement and resettlement action plans.

 

Oil & Gas

Terminal Integrity Management – Western Region
A programme of preventive maintenance and lifecycle planning for a major oil storage terminal. Works included pipeline integrity assessments, valve replacements, and safety system upgrades, conducted under stringent HSE protocols with zero lost time incidents.
